Platinum Preferred Contractor

Built Up Roofing

In buildings with a low slope or flat roof structure, Built-Up Roofing (BUR) is an old and reliable commercial roofing service. These roof systems were first developed in the 1840s and are commonly referred to as “tar and gravel” roofs. The BUR is constructed from layers of roofing felt laminated with bitumen. Fiberglass, polyester, or bitumen-saturated organic fibers are used for BUR. Roof coatings can be top-surfaced or glaze-coated with asphalt, aggregates (gravel or slag), fibered or non-fibered coatings, or granulated surfaces.

Single Ply Roofing

As a result of their strength, flexibility, and long-lasting durability, single-ply roofing systems (SPS) have gained popularity for commercial roofing over the past 30 years. Architects, roofing contractors, and building owners admire this product because of its strength, flexibility, and long-lasting durability.

Modified Bitumen

The Built-up Roof (BUR) is a closely related asphalt-based roofing structure designed for buildings with low slopes or “flat” roofs. Originally developed in Europe in the mid-1960s, engineered modified bitumen roofing membranes have been used successfully in North America since 1975.

Metal Roofing

Metal roofs are among the most popular roofs for commercial buildings. From metal types to color options, metal roofs offer a world of possibilities. Metal roofing is characterized by excellent strength, durability, and fire resistance. Approximately half of all low-rise commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings constructed in recent years have metal roofing in place. Metal roofing has an excellent history spanning literally centuries.

Commercial Roofing Insulation

It is no longer necessary to use roof insulation only as a substrate for covering the roof. Although a suitable substrate remains essential, today’s building owners (as well as building designers and building codes) are seeking high-performance insulation under their roof membranes in order to reduce the growing price of heating and cooling. The roof insulation that Admiral Custom Roofing & Remodeling provides can be customized to meet the most exact specifications.

Commercial Roofing Services & Accessories

The modern commercial roof contractor must possess a depth of knowledge about building products and business management skills. Our team at Guardian Exteriors is dedicated to providing a wide range of commercial roofing material solutions, especially those that are specific to your roofing requirements. We are familiar with the requirements for roofing systems, warranty requirements, as well as the requirements of building codes and “generally accepted practices.”

Slate Roofing

The natural quarried slate roof covering has proven to be a reliable, waterproof material for centuries. A slate roof may last dozens or hundreds of years based on the quality of the stone (for details, please contact your Beacon slate expert). In addition to their longevity, they also possess other qualities. Stone quarried from the Northeast United States, Canada, Virginia, Wales, Spain, South Africa, and other locations is used to make slate roofing. Their simplicity and beauty allow designers to customize nearly every installation in a variety of colors and textures. In some cases, slate roof tiles can be recycled and used for roofing again when they need to be replaced. In terms of cost, slate roofs are arguably among the least expensive roofing systems when measured over their entire lifetime.

Asphalt Shingles

There is no query that asphalt shingles are the most popular roofing material for steep-sloped roofs in the United States and Canada. The development of asphalt shingles over a century ago has made them one of the most cost-effective roofing solutions available.
